Quality Assistant
Adecco is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Quality Assistant** to join our dynamic team at our Richmond, Virginia location. As a Quality Assistant, you will work alongside Quality Engineers, Technicians, and Supplier Quality Engineers to drive continuous improvement and enhance the quality output of our processes. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform in-process and final inspections on units being shipped from assigned lines to ensure compliance with quality standards. + Train and support local operational teams in relevant elements of quality management and encourage continuous improvements. + Collect and report Quality metrics and KPIs to assist in the analysis and management of local processes. + Provide feedback to work teams on quality issues and support alignment between process output and customer expectations. + Communicate engineering drawing, BOM, and material discrepancies with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve issues. + Create and issue Quality Alerts to inform field engineers and assemblers about quality issues affecting multiple units. + Perform incoming material inspections as necessary to ensure product quality. + Work closely with the Test Department and communicate non-conformities back to assembly line supervisors, leads, and assemblers. + Conduct routine audits to ensure processes and products conform to established standards and specifications. + Lead small work teams in documenting processes and implementing quality controls to ensure consistent, predictable results. **Qualifications:** + 2 to 5 years of experience in a quality/manufacturing environment. + Electrical experience preferred, but not required. + Strong understanding of quality management systems and continuous improvement processes. + Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks. + Knowledge of quality tools and methods (e.g., Root Cause Analysis, Corrective Action, Failure Mode Effects Analysis, etc.). + Experience with process audits and non-conformance management. **Why Join Us?** + Competitive compensation and benefits package. + Opportunity to work with a skilled team in a collaborative environment. + Continuous professional development and growth opportunities. + A chance to contribute to the success of a dynamic company that values innovation and quality. **Application Instructions:** Interested candidates are encouraged to submit a resume and cover letter outlining their experience and qualifications.
