Job Objective
Plan, perform, and set up approval tests for progressive tools and requalification tests
Plan, perform, and set up mechanical series-accompanying tests
Process returns and analyze defective devices from final inspections

Tasks / Area of Responsibility
Planning, performing, and evaluating
Plan, perform, and evaluate a variety of tests as stipulated in the testing order, requirement specification, and test instruction incl. requalification
Select components and units and initiate the procurement steps in order to perform the aforementioned tests
Create and supplement testing programs Prepare tests and inspections (such as functional dimension checks) on components, assemblies, and products
Plan and perform series-accompanying tests in accordance with the QPC/CP specifications
Plan and perform individual tests and endurance tests in order to determine reliability, strength, wear, or functionality, for example
Plan and perform benchmark runs, log the results, and check that the results are plausible
Draft test results and evaluate the results
Assist with advising the customer on the potential for optimization; assist with solution concepts for the investigated components, assemblies, and devices
Assist with processing customer complaints about series devices and manufacturing difficulties in consultation with those affected (including Quality Assurance for internal factory, Assembly, development laboratories)

Other tasks
Modify, maintain, and service devices and testing equipment
Document maintenance and repair activities (fault causes, disturbance variables, etc.)
