Job Title: Quality Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Associate to join our team. The Quality Associate will be responsible for performing quality checks on production, filing, and making code plates for finished units. The role involves working with various computer programs to ensure data accuracy and compliance. You will support production and engineering teams, compile documentation packages, and use automated equipment to stamp metal nameplates.

ResponsibilitiesReview production documentation for quality and code compliance.Assign National Board numbers to U-stamped vessels.Generate and sign Manufacturers Data Reports certifying code compliance.Generate, copy, and distribute code nameplates to production.Generate customer-requested documentation related to quality compliance.Retrieve and distribute archived documentation.Perform final review of production documentation.Process Nonconformance Reports and follow up on corrective actions.

Essential SkillsStrong documentation and data review skills.Basic knowledge of pressure vessel code and related industry standards.Proficiency in measurement techniques and use of measurement equipment.Technical writing skills.Effective time management skills.Strong verbal communication skills.Ability to multi-task.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED is required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You may start as early as 6am for training, but the regular shift will likely be 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm. The work environment includes a clean, organized, and large manufacturing floor with all sections labeled based on materials and production. All required PPE must be worn when walking throughout the warehouse but may be removed in the office area. The facility is ISO9001 certified.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
