Quality Assurance, Assistant Vice President

Who we are looking for

State Street Global Technology Services is looking for a talented IT professional for the role of Quality Assurance Lead AVP to join State Street’s world class IT organization. As a Quality Assurance Lead AVP you will be joining an already established team who will engineer the next generation of applications for the modernization of the banks cash applications. We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance, AVP to perform requirements and testing of a critical Cash & Custody application. As part of an existing Cash Application team the QA AVP will act as an essential link in the project development life cycle and will work closely with the Offshore resources, Project Manager, QA Manager, Developers, Business Analysts and other project team members. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years working in Cash/Finance business line.

What you will be responsible for

Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. Quality assurance activities including planning and testing on new and/or enhanced applications. The candidate is expected to be a hands-on tester and work directly with users, analysts and developers to understand the business as well as aid in the deployment and post deployment support of the solution developed. As you develop a strong, interactive working relationship you will be an important participant in the success of the corporation in implementing the next generation of applications for the modernization of State Street cash applications. We’re driving the company’s digital transformation and expanding business capabilities using industry best practices and advanced technologies such as cloud, artificial intelligence and robotics process automation. Experience Required in:

Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or related experience.Minimum 8 years of test experience with strong SDLC & JIRA.Working well with onshore and offshore team members in Agile/Kanban or Waterfall environment.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

8 years + experience in software testing in a process driven technology environment. Recent experience must include hands-on testing.Financial software testing experienceExperience with SDLC & JIRA IS REQUIREDStrong SDLC experience desirableExperience in knowledge of industry standard best practices as related to software testing.Experience in all phases of software application design, development and testing.Experience in creating test cases, scripts, use of automated test tools, testing client/server applications.Ability to translate from business requirements to technical testing solutions.Experience with full cycle testing including functional testing, system testing, integration testing, performance and stress testing.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong partnership and relationship building skills.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $132,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
