Description Job Posting: Senior QA Analyst – Retail Industry Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually Location: El Segundo, CA (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote) The Opportunity (Purpose): The Senior QA Analyst will play an integral role in overseeing quality assurance activities across digital and ecommerce solutions. This position involves collaborating on system improvements, troubleshooting technical issues, and spearheading testing cycles to drive successful enhancements and deployments. Key Responsibilities: + Serve as the primary QA representative, leading efforts to test, validate, and support functionality of both mobile and web-based applications. + Gather and document technical requirements in partnership with cross-functional teams, ensuring test plans are aligned with business objectives. + Investigate and prioritize production issues, assess business impacts, and maintain frequent communication on resolution progress. + Develop and execute testing strategies and test cases, leveraging both manual techniques and automation tools to ensure robust software quality control. + Perform regression testing to verify the stability of existing features after updates or releases. + Identify, log, and report system defects efficiently while collaborating with developers and stakeholders to resolve them. + Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions with key business users for essential system deployments. + Track QA performance metrics like defect density and resolution times, suggesting improvements to testing processes when necessary. + Conduct exploratory data analyses and provide insights to stakeholders to solve critical business needs. + Document resolutions for recurring issues and maintain system-related knowledge bases. + Create user-friendly procedural documentation to assist employees and end-users. + Work on other related projects and duties as assigned. Requirements Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. + At least 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing, QA processes, or a similar field. + Proven expertise across ecommerce platforms and mobile applications for at least 3 years. + Solid background in working with SQL for data analysis and reporting. + Experience with ticketing systems like JIRA or comparable workflow-management tools. + Knowledge of test automation tools such as Selenium, TestRail, or similar. + Familiarity with QA techniques including performance testing, regression testing, and usability testing. + Understanding of Agile software development methodologies and processes (e.g., Scrum framework).
