Summary

The Quality Assurance Analyst will report directly to the Digital Product Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the company’s web software products and applications. This role involves designing and executing test plans and reporting defects to meet established standards for functionality, performance, and security before release.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.Perform testing to identify software defects and ensure product functionality.Work closely with development teams to reproduce, track, and resolve defects.Analyze test results and provide detailed reports, including recommendations for improvements.Recommend automated testing tools to streamline the testing process, improve coverage, speed up detection and resolution of defects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.Ensure that test coverage is adequate for each release.Conduct regression, performance, security, and usability testing as needed.Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Work directly with IT teams to resolve technical issues.Ability to work as part of an Agile and highly collaborative project team.Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education - Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year College or university preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in working with multi-site operational and technical teams.Proven experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar quality assurance role, with a focus on web application testing.Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools for web applications.Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Good information technology acumen that is easily translated and communicated to business users. General understanding of technology as it relates to user interfaces, workflows, cloud, data warehouse, reporting and analytical tools.   Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
