Quality Assurance Analyst
Description We are in search of a Quality Assurance Analyst for a long term contract employment opportunity. This role is situated in the heart of Houston, Texas, and is focused on assuring the quality of a project involving the installation of new tablet mounts in a large fleet of trucks across multiple locations. Responsibilities: • Execute quality control processes to ensure the successful implementation of the tablet mount project. • Collaboratively work with the team to identify and rectify any project issues impacting the quality of outcomes. • Regularly monitor the progress of the project, ensuring all quality assurance standards and deadlines are met. • Analyze data related to the project and provide insightful feedback and recommendations for improvements. • Use your skills in Quality Control to maintain a high standard of quality throughout the project duration. • Regularly communicate with team members about project progress and any potential quality issues. • Conduct routine checks and audits to ensure the quality of the tablet mounts and their installation. • Develop and maintain relevant documentation related to quality assurance processes and project outcomes. Requirements • Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role is required. • Proficiency in Quality Control (QC) procedures is mandatory. • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is crucial. • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases is necessary. • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is desirable. • An understanding of database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including designing and manipulating test data is essential. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate across teams. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. • Candidates should be self-motivated and able to manage their own work. • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
