Full Time Contract Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst Location: Hybrid Hato Rey, PR Length of Contract: One year Position Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our client's team in Hato Rey, PR. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our client software products and systems through the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
+ Test Planning and Design:
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical specifications.
+ Identify and define test data requirements.
+ Participate in requirements review and design sessions to provide input on testability.
+ Test Execution and Analysis:
+ Execute test cases and document test results.
+ Identify, analyze, and report defects using bug tracking systems.
+ Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
+ Analyze test results to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
+ Defect Management:
+ Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
+ Track and manage defects through the defect lifecycle.
+ Verify defect fixes and ensure proper resolution.
+ Documentation and Reporting:
+ Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
+ Provide regular status updates and reports to project stakeholders.
+ Ensure all testing documentation is in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
+ Process Improvement:
+ Contribute to the development and improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
+ Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
+ Collaboration:
+ Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
+ Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
+ 3-5 years of experience in software QA within the healthcare industry
+ Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
+ Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).
+ Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
+ Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, performance, usability).
+ Knowledge of API testing, database testing, cloud platforms is a plus.
+ Relevant certifications (e.g., International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) are a plus.
Education & Certifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field required.
