Quality Assurance Automation EngineerWhat does a successful Quality Assurance Automation Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will leverage your QA automation knowledge and expertise to write test plans and elicit test cases from requirements. You will update the testing strategy and prioritize tests in support of SnapPay, a Business2Business solution from Fiserv. SnapPay’s secure, cloud-based solution seamlessly integrates directly with ERP systems enables greater straight-through processing from payment execution to reconciliation, across multiple payment types and channels.
What you will do:
Develop and write frameworks for automation testing. Modify, enhance, or fix existing frameworks to accommodate API testing or UI testing requirements.Perform testing activities, including planning, designing, scripting, debugging, and reporting tasks.Collaborate with Technical and Business teams to define the scope of testing required and handle post-test execution activities such as error debugging, reporting, and internal and external communications.Write test plans and test traceability matrices using tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Azure, or Rational CLM.Automate testing for web applications and web API interfaces using tools like JMeter, Selenium, Cucumber BDD, Tosca, and Postman.Assess existing frameworks and modify or replace them as needed to ensure they meet the testing requirements.What you will need to have:
6+ years of experience in software testing and automation6+ core development experience on frameworks using C, C++, Python, Java, .Net languages to develop frameworks on tools like IDE, Cucumber/BDD, Selenium, Rest Assured6+ experience with automated testing tools, like SOAP UI, POSTMAN, JMeter, Swagger3+ years of experience utilizing Test Management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, Azure DevOps, Rational, QC, qTest 3+ years of experience with version control systems, Jenkins, Jira, ConfluenceBachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experienceWhat would be great to have:
Experience with payments systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions and processesExperience with environments like AWS, Pivotal Cloud FoundryExperience with Virtual emulation: Sauce Labs, Mobile LabsExperience in BDD Framework: CucumberImportant info about this role:
