Role: Quality Assurance Consultant
Required Skills:
· 7 to 9+ years of experience as a Test Analyst with strong hands-on skills in Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT testing.
· Hands-on experience testing applications built using Salesforce
· Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, or TestNG.
· Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
· Self-motivated, responsible, efficient, and highly organized
· Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
· Expertise in analyzing requirements, deriving test scenarios, creating test cases, and reporting defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
· Familiarity with deployment and release processes
· Knowledge of API testing for integrations using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
· Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality
· Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and escalate changes impacting testing schedules as needed.
Test Planning:
· Define, along with stakeholders, the release test strategy and plan, focusing on data integrity, business rules, and automation.
· Coordinate with developers, admins, and business users to ensure testing activities are aligned with project milestones.
· Collaborate to ensure Change Management, Configuration Management, and Defect Management processes support the testing lifecycle.
· Perform root cause analysis for defects and provide insights to prevent recurring issues.
Test Execution/Coordination:
· Ensure timely execution of test cases, including manual and automated tests (if any), with a focus on integrations
· Provide testing coordination support for end users and IT teams, tracking progress, defects, and retesting efforts.
· Manage customer expectations during the testing cycle and ensure smooth UAT processes.
· Drive defect resolution by proposing and designing retest cases, scripts, and data.
· Negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts during testing phases to maintain the project timeline.
· Manage formal sign-off and acceptance processes with customers.
Documentation & Reporting:
· Analyze test results to verify alignment with business requirements and technical designs.
· Document test outcomes, including functional and non-functional validations, in accordance with organizational policies.
· Present detailed test results and defect reports to customer management, ensuring actionable insights.
· Continuously evaluate the testing process with stakeholders for improvements.
· Provide status reports on testing progress, defect trends, and overall quality metrics during the testing phases.
