**Job Description**
The Coordinator, Quality Assurance; is a role that provides Quality support to ensure compliance with the Quality System and business strategy of Olympus. They are a representative of the Distribution Quality Department reporting to the Director, Site Quality Systems, specifically allocated to supporting receiving and distribution of Olympus product.
The coordinator has responsibilities for various aspects of product quality and the quality management system; including but not limited to product acceptance activities, identification of nonconforming materials, assist with requests concerning the status of product affected by Ship Hold activities and support of internal and external audit.
**Job Duties**
+ Ensures compliance with to the applicable quality system requirements.
+ Inspects and disposition received product.
+ Initiates nonconformance reports and tracks to closure.
+ Supports data gathering for Material Review.
+ Point of Contact for Ship Holds, collaborate with distribution operations concerning inquires and Ship Hold status.
+ Support internal and external audits as requested.
+ Identify quality issues and process improvement opportunities aligned with KPI metrics.
**Job Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ High school Diploma or Equivalent
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Continuous improvement mindset, always thinking it can be done better.
+ Working knowledge and understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and ERP Systems with the ability to learn and adapt to a new system as applicable.
+ Must have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills with focus on teamwork and rapid problem resolution.
**Preferred:**
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a regulated industry is preferred.
+ Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint are preferred.
