Essential Responsibilities Performs visual and dimensional measurements of purchased components using microscopes, micrometers, dial calipers, and other precision measurement equipment.Inspect products using gauges, Instruments & visual at receiving inspection, in process inspection, and prior to shipment.Verifies conformance of products to specifications & drawingsWork with cross functional procurement & operation, engineering teams to address any non-conformances.Record inspection results accurately on inspection report and in databasesBasic understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancingMake acceptance or rejection decisions based on established procedures.Establish appropriate inspection setups using the equipment available.Follows company safety policies and procedures while ensuring quality work.Tolerancing measurement techniques, with the ability to interpret engineering specifications. Position RequirementsEducation: Diploma/Engineering equivalent experience
Experience: Minimum Seven years dealing with QC for pumps and other related rotating equipment
