What You Will Do

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Trimble Monitoring team and the first user of engineering applications. You will work with geodetic total stations, GNSS receivers, tiltmeters and many other geotechnical sensors - all integrated in our Trimble Monitoring software to ensure site safety. Some tasks you will work on include:

Participating in design sessions, identifying problems and opportunities for improvements of the application

Preparing test strategies, test plans, test cases and executing them

Implementing automated test suites 

Providing test matrices

Embracing task variation and learning something new every day

Maintaining our test sites in the field

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Minimum of two years of experience in software testing

Experience with creating test plans, test cases

Experience in QA automation with a focus on End-to-End (E2E) testing. (Cypress, Selenium, MSTest, etc.)

A solid understanding of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and how quality assurance fits into an Agile workflow.

Basic knowledge in database management (e.g. SQL, MongoDB, Realm...)

OS virtualization

Strong analytical thinking skills

Good command of English (written and spoken). German is a plus. 

One of the software testing certifications like ISTQB would be a benefit.
