Quality Assurance Engineer

Quality Assurance Engineer (EQAE) assures high engineering product quality while collaborating with other competences, as well as the project management, systems, software and hardware engineering. The EQAE support project teams in area of being complaint to customer requirements and applicable industry standards (IATF, ASPICE), by coaching and performing audits.  

This role monitors quality activities for upcoming sprints and project milestones, reports issues, helps project team with their investigation to closure and escalate if needed.  

The EQAE role is expected also to capture lessons learned, share knowledge across organization and develop ideas for process improvement (including process automation).

Your Background:

Identify applicable quality requirements (including Customer Specific Requirements) for supported project and ensure its proper implementation.

Define strategies for quality activities and audits sampling.

Coordinate and track quality assurance activities with projects schedule.

Identify project nonconformities and risks. Track them to closure and escalate if required.

Assure timely reporting of key process indicators and communicate them to involved stakeholders.

Evaluate readiness of work products for gate reviews and timely report their status to Management.

Monitor Software releases and assure that necessary documents will be correctly prepared by project team.

Support audits and assessments by project team preparation and acting as assessor.

Support Quality Assurance process automation.

Your Background:

Min. Bachelor degree in Engineering

Deep understanding of Quality Systems (IATF 16949) and industry standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE)

QMS Internal auditor or ASPICE assessor competency

Experience in Automotive industry

Knowledge of quality / problem solving tools (AIAG/VDA Core tools)

Familiarity with Agile and tools like Jira, Confluence

Very good communication, presentation, negotiation and assertiveness skills

Fluent in English language skills
