Sitting within our Product Development team, we are looking to hire a Software Tester, who will be working in an Agile and multi-disciplined team with the core focus on quality assurance of our proprietary travel products and platforms. Contributing to the overall development and delivery process, the Software Tester performs automated and manual tests, ensuring created software is fit for purpose and achieves quality assurance standards. Playing a pivotal role within the Team, the Software Tester actively seeks best practice, driving high standards of software testing and supporting documentation. **What You'll Do** + Execute all levels of testing, including: Integration, system, acceptance, exploratory and regression. + Design, develop and enhance automated and manual test scripts to increase quality and timeliness of outputs. + Be an “active” member within the team, willing to contribute and help generate delivery ideas and solutions. + Detect and triage software defects and inconsistencies, managing defects through to resolution. + Conduct smoke tests on releases into the production environment. **What We're Looking For** + Three years or more software testing experience within an agile development team. + Proven experience with version control systems such as Git. + Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Webdriver, Cucumber, TestNG, Rest Assured, Playwright). **Desirable Skills:** + Knowledge of Jira and Confluence. + Good understanding of the Business Travel industry, including working knowledge of one of the GDSs (Travelport). + Basic development skills with Microsoft .NET technologies. **Location** United Kingdom **The #TeamGBT Experience** Work and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT. + **Flexible benefits** are tailored to each country and start the day you do.
