Your Impact:

The ESM R&D team is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer, to join our Global R&D team to deliver innovative enterprise software solutions by working in a fast paced challenging and enriching environment. This is a high-growth business, and our solutions are used by enterprise class highly demanding customers across the globe. We are using a Microservices based architecture composed of multiple services running on Kubernetes using Docker Containers.

 

As a Quality Assurance Engineer,

Understand the requirements, work with the Leads and developers and come up with Test scenarios and test cases to test the features. Develop and implement test automation to improve the overall efficiency. Come up with E2E Testing scenarios and automate those scenarios.Work with System team comprising of automation and CICD engineers to drive Quality and efficiency for enterprise software application. Participate in design reviews to ensure that the functionality is testable. Contribute as a team member and take responsibility for own work commitments and take part in project / functional problem-solving. Work under general guidance with progress reviewed on a regular basis.
 

What the role offers:

In-depth knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practicesDevelop and implement test automation to improve the overall efficiency.Proactively work with team members to start testing earlier, more often and the right tests get done at the right time.Strong Communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.Work independently in a cross functional distributed team culture with focus on teamwork.Experience with test automation tools and frameworks e.g.: Cucumber, Selenium & JMeterExcellent communication and collaboration skills.

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor's or Master's engineering degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent from premier institutes.3-5 years of overall Quality Engineering experience, with at least 2+ recent years of experience in automation using Python / Java.Working knowledge in Docker/Container technologies, Kubernetes, HelmWorking knowledge on Virtualization technologiesUser or Administration knowledge on Linux Operating SystemDatabase user level Knowledge, preferably PostgreSQL, Vertica and Oracle DB.Should be capable of writing SQL queries. Exposure to Cloud technologies usage and deployments would be good (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.)Working experience in Agile environment or Scaled Agile (SAFe)Experience of technically mentoring and guiding junior engineersUnderstanding on CI-CD/build tools like GIT, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins Knowledge and experience in IT Operations Management.
