In this role, you will be responsible for testing Oil & Gas Applications & API. You will be involved in Functional & Automated Testing. You will be involved in Agile Software Development Approach.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Planning, developing and executing test cases for software, preferably in an automated Windows based EnvironmentBreaking down problems and estimating time for quality related tasksTaking ownership of small to large features / enhancement and delivering without supervisionCollaborating within a global SCRUM team.Using application of best practices in testing while designing and executing test casesDeveloping and maintaining automated tests for APIs and GUI.Integrating automated test scripts with TFS ADO pipelinesAdvocating for robust QA methodologies and improvements within the teamIdentifying and reporting of bugs collaboratively with the team.Presenting and demonstrating of product progress in each sprintMentoring junior QA team members, both within and outside the SCRUM team.Taking leadership and contributing to regression testing efforts towards the end of each release.Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Be a graduate in Computer Science bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 4-7 years of QA experience in a SCRUM/Agile setting.Have skill in all core test activities, including test case reviewing, crafting test data, testcase design, manual & exploratory testcase execution.Have good experienced with BDD languages and test automation tools.Have proven knowledge in Database Testing.Have knowledge about existing test automation strategies and best practices.Have ability for writing automated test scripts in TypeScript and/or C#.Be proficient in using collaborative tools like TFS ADO, JIRA, and/or RALLY.Be familiar with source code version control tools such as Git, GitHub, SourceSafe, and SVC.Possess strong English communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly with the SCRUM team and other stakeholdersHave expertise in testing both desktop and web-based applications, with a solid understanding of the underlying infrastructureWork in a way that works for you
