Do you want to lead initiatives that will have a significant impact to Amazon’s customer experience and bottom line?
ABOUT HAUL
Launched in November 2024, Amazon Haul is a low cost store with a fun and engaging customer experience like no other. Haul is a mobile first experience that provides customers in the U.S. a place to discover even more affordable fashion, home, lifestyle, electronics, and other products with ultra-low prices and typical delivery times of one to two weeks.
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work with a strong engineering team to support and grow this new customer experience. You will have opportunity to touch the entire customer experience, including browse, search, recommendations, gamification, promotions, detail page, cart and checkout.
Key job responsibilities
Our QAEs test at both the service and user level, using a variety of techniques. As a QA Engineer, you will help build out test strategy to support multiple core platforms, marketplaces, dependencies, languages and devices. You will write and support manual and automated testing strategies to cover a comprehensive end to end test suite for both UI and backend services.
QA Engineers work with Software Development Engineers and Business Stakeholders to define and understand the business use cases and requirements. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers and partner teams to develop test plans and suites that approximate real-world environments and regression tests. You must have experience in diagnosing project release problems and taking corrective action, such as escalating as needed, to resolve and achieve results.
Our QAEs are also responsible for driving our software development process toward quality-centric methodologies and for reporting on test progress, metrics, and issues.
