A Day In The Life A day in the life of a quality inspector second shift at CMC would include signing off on first piece samples for production, conducting roving inspections of all running machines in buildings 3 and 4 on second shift until buildings are consolidated. It may be necessary to inspect raw material, conduct hardenss testing, or conduct inspections utilizing Keyence Vision System. This position requires quality inspector to understand how to use calipers, thread gauges, pin gauges, torque and or ring gauges. What will help you thrive in this role? Basic understanding of how to read and interpret blue prints and how to use calipers.
