Quality Assurance Inspector

Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector in Newark, NJ to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. In-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards is essential.

Your Day:

Perform inspection of manufacturing room, equipment, and packaging line (where applicable) before each stage of production as per pre-established SOPsPerform Inspection and sampling of all incoming raw materials and packaging components to verify receipt of raw materials and packaging componentsMaintain supplier’s Certificate of analysis (COA) for Raw materials and packaging components, received in the facilityCollect in-process production samples on packaging lines and transfer them to the QC labAssist the Quality department to manage and maintain retain samples program which includes collecting and entering sample information in the retain samples logbook for each production batchPerform daily verification of weighing balance, top loader, and floor balances in the facility Maintenance of standard weights required to perform daily verification of balances.Perform periodic inspection on packaging lines to check components, product fill weights, and lot code of the productRecord observations in master production batch records (Batch tickets) for QA Inspection- line clearance checklists, sampling and packaging label verificationPrepare pallet sheets and print case labels for packaging operationsCoordinate and transfer production documents between the two facilities dailyEnsure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) according to current regulations and standards including maintenance of accurate records of all tests performed, documenting test results in laboratory notebooks as per GLP/GMP/GDP.Work collaboratively with Supply chain, warehouse, production, and quality department

About You:

Must be able to read, write and verbally communicate in English.Must be able to read and understand drawings.Accurately use inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, pin gauges and thread gauges.Possess simple math skills.Ability to work overtime, including weekends.High School Graduate

Shift/Pay-Rate:

3:30pm to 11:45pm$20.00 - $22.00
