**Job Description**
We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to inspect machined parts before they are sent out to customers. The ideal candidate will perform first piece, in-progress, and final inspections, conduct quality audits of all machined parts, and perform gauge calibration. The role requires the ability to read specific customer drawings and provide detailed inspection reports for all phases of inspection. The inspector will use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools for quality inspection and testing.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect machined parts before they are sent out to customers.
+ Perform first piece, in-progress, and final inspections.
+ Conduct quality audits of all machined parts.
+ Perform gauge calibration.
+ Read and interpret specific customer drawings.
+ Provide detailed inspection reports for all phases of inspection.
+ Use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools for quality inspection and testing.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of quality inspection experience.
+ Experience with micrometers, calipers, and gauge calibration.
+ Ability to read blueprints and drawings, including GD&T.
+ Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO9001:2000 standards.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ CMM experience is a bonus.
+ Experience with blueprint schematics.

**Work Environment**
The position is a first-shift role, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with mandatory overtime. Most employees either come in at 6:00 am or stay an hour late during the week, and work from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturdays. The pay range is $22-$32 per hour, depending on experience, with higher pay available for candidates with CMM experience.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, New York.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
