POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of the Software Quality Assurance (QA) Lead is to ensure that the highest quality business solutions are delivered in the most efficient and consistent manner maximizing value and minimizing cost through best practices and automation. Provides QA oversight and delivery ensuring software/system quality and audit requirements are met. Responsible for leading quality assurance professionals to validate development practices and thoroughly test and document software code changes prior to deployment to production.
Responsibilities Lead Quality Assurance and Testing within an agile environment responsible for release management.Define QA strategy and best practices for test automation and performance testing. Develop and execute test plans, develop test cases, test data, test scenarios, and other testing related documentationEffectively interpret design/requirements documentation and work with business and IT staff to create test plans/scriptsWork with the cross functional IT team and contribute to the completion and success of a project.Meet organizational Software Quality program KPIs that ensure software qualityAnalyze incoming data and client files for accuracy, completeness, and applicabilityVerify processing logic, client parameters, data values, and calculations as appliedConduct meetings with internal business units, business analysts, application development and project Management teams for requirements/implementation review and as otherwise as necessary throughout the project lifecycleAccurately report and track testing related defects and issues, by writing effective and thorough bug reports, and verify bug fixesReview deliverable content and format for accuracy, completeness, accessibilityCoordinate UAT and other testing related tasks with Business and other IT departmentsRecommend process changes that lead to better overall solution qualityUtilize appropriate methodologies based on project needs, including standard templates and deliverable documents, dashboards, budgets and reportingProactively identify project risks and work collaboratively to identify and implement risk mitigationManage Test automation for UI / API using postman, .Net and Selenium or equivalent toolsetsConduct software validation focusing on GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11, PDMA and HIPAA assessments on off-the-shelf software.Conducting periodic reviews of validated systemsResponsible for the production deployment approval of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during a project.

QualificationsEducation and Experience:
Preferred BS or BA in Computer Science, Business Administration in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.Minimum 7+ years of experience ideally with 3+ years of pharmacy services experience as a manager, tester, configuration manager, or analystFour plus years of experience with information systems analysis, design, development and documentation preferably in insurance, health care, and/or retailKnowledge of test automation techniques and best practicesKnowledge & experience in the health care industry/ pharmacy service preferredExposure to pharmaceutical industry data (NDC, IMS) and applications are a good to have in addition to knowledge of GAMP, PDMA, HIPAA, 21 CFRPart11 and FDA’s validation requirements.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.Strong analytical skills to discover, analyze and resolve problemsMust have knowledge of Web Service technologies and Test automation technologies.Knowledge of Pharmacy management, Order Management and Prescriber Validation System is plus.Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change. Must be able to troubleshoot systemic IT validation issues and present solutions to IT validation problems. Should also apply validation engineering principles to the design and implementation of databases, applications, and/or capital projects. Experience with source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, GitHub as well as databases and SQL.Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) a big plusMust have a positive attitude, good problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
