As a Quality Assurance Manager you will have the opportunity to support the organization to meet customer expectations for products and services. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by ensuring all products meet customer expectations and demands. So, what will you be doing as Quality Assurance Manager?
+ Quality Planning and Document Control
+ Leads in the development of quality assurance plans by conducting risk analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
+ Customer and compliance deviation documentation creation
+ QMS and Regulatory Compliance document control.
+ Development of policy and procedure as directed corporately or required locally.
+ Development of work instructions, visual aids, etc…as directed corporately or required locally.
+ Assist manufacturing sites as needed in document creation, revision and control.
+ Address Supplier Quality issues for major customers
+ Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system.
+ Issues authorization of release of conforming product as required.
+ Business Intelligence and Process Control
+ Data collection/mining and maintenance for process effectiveness and continuous improvement efforts.
+ Voice Of Customer (VOC) data input collection and output report creation
+ Prepares various quality reports including KPIs, trend reporting and training plans. Works with Operations Leadership to ensure that reporting is reviewed with management and supervision and posted accordingly in the plant.
+ Problem Solving / Facilitating
+ Core competence in facilitating problem-solving events, specifically 8D
+ Provide leadership and ability to train others in problem solving.
+ Leadership with developing and executing development plans for Quality Team Members.
+ Ensure in-process quality checks are performed per our quality plans, recognize quality problems, and suggest adjustments to ensure that orders are manufactured and shipped to specifications.
+ Interacts with operations management and supervision to ensure corrective action is taken immediately.
+ Audits
+ Organize, manage and lead internal audits, corrective actions, and management reviews.
+ Customer Audit leadership or assistance as required.
+ Third party audit review and leadership when required.
+ Leadership in development and deployment of plant team Quality assessments.
+ Leadership of Supplier Quality audits when required.
+ Cross-Functional Teams
+ Ensures the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the regional sites.
+ Interaction with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction as directed.
+ New Product Development Gate owner for actionable items and dates related to launch or product changes as it relates to manufacturing sites within scope of direct influence.
+ Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
+ Assists customer service, sales and management in tracking, trending and resolving complaints. Ensure that customer reporting for quality systems meets customer requirements.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality focused role within a manufacturing setting.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience as a leader in the quality function.

+ Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering related field of study.
