Title: Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Assurance Manager leads the quality assurance and food safety programs at the Argo Plant, ensuring all products and critical manufacturing supplies meet stringent government, customer, and company standards for quality and safety.
Your role will be:
Oversee the development and implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) programs and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations, customer requirements, and company standards.Conduct and manage internal, customer, and third-party audits, as well as audits of external facilities, to ensure adherence to regulatory and company expectations.Provide expert guidance and direction to all departments on matters related to product quality and food safety. Collaborate with divisional and corporate Quality Assurance teams to address customer concerns and technical issues, ensuring alignment with corporate quality standards.Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring all non-conformances are documented and resolved efficiently.Foster a strong safety culture within the team, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate policies.Support the plant’s Quality Control Systems to ensure timely and accurate release of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.Implement and maintain compliance with FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) and FSSC 22000 (Food Safety System Certification) standards.Collaborate with operational units to identify and rectify deficiencies in quality systems, driving continuous improvement.Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports to enhance their skills and decision-making capabilities, aligning with business goals.Oversee the evaluation, development, and training of department personnel to maintain a safe, competent, and motivated workforce.You will need these skills to be successful:
Proven ability to lead change within a large Quality Assurance organization.Experience in motivating, training, developing, and managing people.Ability to challenge conventional methods and implement innovative solutions.Lean Six Sigma Green Belt with experience in leading and sustaining process improvements using LSS tools.Strong leadership and facilitation skills, with the ability to build consensus and foster positive relationships with customers and team members.Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments efficiently.Your profile needs these qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, Microbiology) or considerable experience in quality assurance/control, operations, or other technical areas.7-10 years of experience in quality control/quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably in Corn Wet Milling.Extensive knowledge of ISO, GMP, and food ingredient quality control systems.In-depth understanding of FSMA and FSSC 22000 requirements and their application in a food manufacturing environment.Ingredion Total Rewards and Benefits

$95,300.00-$127,100.00 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
