MAU is hiring a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager for our client in West Columbia, SC. As a QA Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of processes that ensure the quality and integrity of products or services within the organization. You will focus on creating and maintaining standards to prevent defects, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
Benefits Package 401k matching Sick leave Life insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Short term disability Long term disability Paid time off Shift Information Monday to Thursday; 7:00 AM to 5:15 PM with potential overtime Required Education and Experience Proven leadership in managing QA programs within a similar field 5-10 years of relevant experience preferred General Requirements Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Effective communicator, able to collaborate with diverse team members Essential Functions Oversee all quality-related training and maintain NQA-1, Section VIII, and AISC Manuals Develop and implement Quality Procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements Review work orders, hold points, inspection methods, and necessary documentation for quality assurance Ensure documentation is reviewed by a qualified quality representative Manage Non-Conformances, analyze quality data, and implement corrective actions Maintain approved supplier list and evaluate suppliers through audits or evaluations Oversee annual management review activities Verify NDE personnel qualifications and certifications Review purchase orders for accuracy and client requirements Approve fabrication drawings and dedication plans Ensure traceability and identification are maintained from acceptance to production release Conduct quarterly inspections of materials and periodic inspections of storage areas Manage calibration and control of M&TE Maintain QA Records, including classification, validation, and storage Manage audit schedules and approve audit plans
