We are adding a Quality Assurance Manager to our Tech team!

As a Quality Assurance Manager at Snapsheet, you are a proactive problem solver—building test systems and processes that elevate quality, prevent issues, and ensure seamless operations. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, collaborating closely with software developers, QA engineers, and designers. Your focus is on identifying and resolving potential quality issues, managing large-scale system testing, and ensuring the continuous delivery of high-quality products as Snapsheet scales.

What you’ll do as a Quality Assurance Manager:

Assist in leading the QA team, including mentoring and managing direct reports, and providing updates to the hiring manager.Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes effective communication and continuous improvement.Lead end-to-end product QA across functional, automation, and performance testing streams.Define and implement QA strategies aligned with business objectives and foster best practices.Drive discussions with product and leadership teams to determine test strategies, plans, and execution approaches.Improve visibility and collaboration in automated testing, including planning, tracking, and reporting.Develop tests for large-scale data migrations and high-throughput scenarios.Simulate system data growth and evaluate future scenarios, implementing appropriate tools.Design scalable test automation patterns to support platform customization and configurability.Create and maintain automated test suites integrated into CI pipelines.Design and implement performance testing systems and strategies using tools like Grafana k6, JMeter, or LoadRunner.Ensure traceability between testing activities and project outcomes.Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality to measure and track QA performance, efficiency, and effectiveness.Develop appropriate quality metrics, creating test plans, strategies, and artifactsProactively manage tasks, prioritizing and requesting resources when necessary.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.Provide QA reporting, including test status, defect resolution, and prevention.

What we are looking for in a Quality Assurance Manager:

Proficient in programming languages (Ruby and JavaScript preferred)Experienced in building test automation frameworks from scratch using tools like Selenium, Capybara, and Cypress.Skilled in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and CI/CD tools (e.g., CircleCI, Jenkins, Travis CI).Familiar with project management tools (Jira, Confluence), version control systems (Git, GitHub), and test management tools (Zephyr, TestRail).Proficient in non-functional testing tools (e.g., Grafana k6, JMeter).SQL, Docker, and performance testing experience are a plus.8+ years in QA, emphasizing test automation for web applications, performance testing, and API testing.5+ years of experience mentoring QA teams and leading cross-functional collaboration.Proven ability to define QA strategies, align efforts with business goals, and drive innovation.Strong communication, empathy, and conflict resolution abilities.Effective motivator and team manager with exceptional organizational skills.Attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills.Proven ability to multitask and deliver in a fast-paced environment.A team player who thrives in collaborative settings and works effectively with others to ensure problem resolution.
