Quality Assurance Manager - Brazil
Please note that for this position, candidates must be located in Brazil. **QA Manager** **SUMMARY** The QA Manager leads a team of Quality Engineers and SEiTs responsible for testing multiple Accruent products and is a champion of Quality. They know good when they see it and motivate teams to achieve greatness. They work tirelessly to remove roadblocks to success, embrace a culture of continuous improvement and are always willing to teach others how to embrace it as well. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, possess leadership experience and have a deep knowledge of QA best practices. Ideally, they will have led a team before and have experience with automation, Agile software development and are comfortable leading teams located in multiple countries. Most importantly, they are a tireless advocate of doing it right the first time around and take great pride in the quality of the software they produce. If you have these attributes, are passionate about technology and are a proven problem solver then Accruent may be a fit for you. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES** + Be a tireless champion of software quality. This requires understanding how teams work, identifying where the quality gaps exist, negotiating with stakeholders to close them, and performing necessary training where required. + Working with a cross-team of stakeholders, deliver software updates within required timelines and according to organizational standards. Stakeholders include Product Management, Engineering, Support, Operations and Professional Services. + Provide leadership for a team of Quality Engineers inclusive of all management responsibilities such as goals, objectives, reviews, coaching, mentoring and career development. + Manage to a set of KPIs used to measure the success of the teams. When teams deviate from them, utilize internal tools to understand the reasons for deviation and take corrective actions. + Proactively engage with other leaders within Accruent to identify opportunities for improvement on the teams and compiles plans to achieve them. + Maintains and grow a robust automated regression suite to further product quality goals. + Embrace the adoption of a wide range of quality standards for stories and features including both functional and non-functional requirements. + Actively participate in the ITIL processes of Change Management, Problem Management & Release Management to identify ways to improve quality. **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES** + Fluent/Advanced English skills. + Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, STEM-related or Business-Related degree. + Experience in the software development industry. + Experience in Quality Assurance roles or responsibilities. + Experience leading a team of Quality Engineers. + Proven experience with software quality assurance best practices in an Agile environment. + Experience developing business cases to fund long-term priorities. + Understanding of risk-based testing and risk mitigation planning. + Ability to use metrics and data to holistically assess the state of quality for a product. + Experience with Agile software development methodology. + Experience designing and deploying automated testing suites.. + Experience with performance testing techniques in an Agile environment. + Self-reliant and motivated self-starter. + Project and task oriented with a focus on details. **DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE** + Experience managing associates located in multiple countries. + Prior experience as a software engineer. + Experience with the Scaled Agile Framework. + Prior experience as a Scrum Master. + Experience using Jira to manage Agile software development. + Working knowledge of SaaS and DevOps concepts. + Exposure to the Agile SAFe Framework and Kanban techniques. + Knowledge of basic networking principles and concepts. \#LI-PB1 #LI-Remote **Fortive Corporation Overview** Fortive’s essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
