Quality Assurance Manager - Nutrition Division

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Summary:

Responsible for ensuring our products meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required for distribution and the market.

Core job responsibilities:

Main responsibilities:

Manage departmental operating budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient usage of resources, where applicableEstablish quality objectives of the department. Develop continuous improvement of staff and operation to achieve high performance and productivity. Summarize and report to the management on QA operations (KPI, S&OP)Manage and oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures, processes and standards to ensure alignment to global Abbott quality policy and local regulatory guidelinesRecommend improvement on policies, practices and processes to ensure the attainment of product quality standards to comply with all GSP/ISO standards and principal’s requirementEvaluate QA system at warehouse as per requirements from principals including: ISO 9001:2015, GxP or BOD. Participate and assist the management in any principal auditCoordinate with warehouse and other departments to prepare for the internal audit, external audit, and QA monitoringMonitor, evaluate and deliver quality inspection report of non-conformity activities of LogisticsProvide specialist technical advice and support to management and staff on quality assurance matters in accordance with established policies, procedures and legislative requirementsDirect and train QA Staff to strictly follow the procedures and work instructions of the Company and department. Monitor daily operation of QA departmentTrain new QA Staff, logistics staff to comply with GxP, SOP, product knowledge, product safety and hygiene, operation guideline, etc.Work closely with customer service to understand customer’s complaint regarding to the quality matters, cooperate with other department and principal for a quickly corrective and preventive actionQuality visits top customers/ Quality evaluation Direct AgencyCertify Suppliers regarding to product qualitySubmit reports based on actual activities to BOD for regular reviewingCarry out other tasks as assigned by the managementProvide leadership, guidance and expertise to the entire team within a dynamic matrix organization. Work with the team to ensure ongoing development of their expertise, quality execution and achievement of career goals.Supervise the work of the entire team and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency and effectiveness as well as career road map

MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Work Experience:

Prior experience in Quality Assurance field with food/ milk (nutrition) / pharmaceutical background are preferredAt least 2-year experience at Manager level with significant achievements

Core Skill Requirement:

Strong communication and analytical skills, good partnering with stakeholderAble to work under pressure to provide quick support for adhoc requests

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED

Bachelor’s Degree
