Quality Assurance & Performance Specialist in Finance TeamSummary of the role:
This role is a key position within the global FSC team, responsible for the innovation and quality assurance initiatives within the FSCs. It plays an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation of a supporting framework, to deliver best in class results.
In this role you will be responsible for:
FSC Strategy & leadership:
- To work together amongst the different FSC teams worldwide to drive overall FSC strategy and performance
Project management
- To support and collaborate actively in all the projects impacting FSCs operations: e-invoicing, integration of new companies, process standardization initiatives, etc... among others
Reporting, document management & key relationships:
- To organize support material and update SOPs for FSC (Accounting) processes based on the standard processes defined by process owners (GPOs)
FSC Strategy & Leadership:
- Participate in annual goal setting activities to plan FSC performance goals, ensuring goal is homogeneous amongst the FSCs
- To work with key business and finance stakeholders to build a Quality Assurance global environment for FSCs, including Finance directors, GPOs, BPOs, AOs, etc...
- To assist in the development and implementation of a ‘best-in-class’ Quality Assurance strategy for FSCs.
- To lead and facilitate lean/process improvement based workshops to drive ideas and solutions
Operational excellence:
- To identify and deliver service / process improvement activities across FSC teams by application of innovative thinking, fostering automation and standardization
- To identify trends and process variations in the FSCs as part of establishing a Quality Assurance monitoring system
- To take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls
- To elicit requirements and drive process improvements using staff interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, process descriptions, process analysis and workflow analysis
- To support the delivery of better value, quality, controls and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within processes and identification of better ways of working
- To work with the FSC teams and GPOs to update training/onboarding materials to support new initiatives
- To help foster an environment in which continuous improvement in business processes and services is welcomed and recognized.
Project management
- To complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved
- To ensure the business impact and project objectives/dependencies are identified, reported and managed at all times
- To actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance
Reporting, document management & key relationships:
- Generation of KPI and SLA monthly reports for Performance review and performance reporting meetings
- Develop strong cross divisional/departmental relations, establishing trust and understanding
- Work hand in hand with the GPOs on new ideas and recommendations to streamline the processes
- Monitor the efficiency of the FSCs and balance workload across FSC teams
About ideal Candidate:
-Experience of designing or implementing a framework of Quality Assurance in a multijurisdictional organization
-Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements
-Experience in KPIs and SLAs implementation and monitoring, ideally in a (Finance) Shared Service Center environment
-Experience of the whole project life cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage in between
-Ability to effectively supervise and motivate virtual teams and to relate effectively cross-functionally with all levels of management.
-Proven track record of successful implementation of different Quality Assurance initiatives
-Ability to work in different projects at the same time, and to be able to link all the dots and the different initiatives to generate integrated and sustainable benefits
-Finance / Accounting background
-Finance Service Centers background
- Process Mining / Celonis knowledge highly appreciated
