Quality Assurance Product Specialist (Zoetermeer – fulltime)
This role is part of our Specialized Nutrition factory located in Zoetermeer. In this factory (with over 600 Danoners) we produce specialized liquid medical nutrition contributing to the well-being of vulnerable target groups (infants, elderly and sick) in over 55 countries.
Assuring Quality and Food safety of our products, by making sure our products comply with latest Quality and Food Safety standards & Regulations and driving Right First Time development and implementation of recipe changes and innovations, enabling our supply point to always deliver high Quality and Food safe products.
Your main responsibilities:
Represent supply point QA in innovation projects. Ensuring recipe changes/new recipes are robust and compliant with relevant standards when implemented, by defining the product validation criteria in collaboration with Product development, PCM (Product change management) and manufacturing and taking part in project risk assessments.Ensure Ingredient and finished product specifications meet relevant Quality standardsDefine QC release and product monitoring test plans for finished products and ingredients.Drive/perform Root cause analysis and Q& FS risk assessments in case of deviations and define corrective and preventive actions.Transfer data into valuable information & continuously improve the quality and compliance of products and processes, in line with business needs.Act as a Quality specialist regarding food safety and quality standards of our products within the supply point and project teams.Act as a business partner by identifying opportunities for productivity improvements with regards to Quality and Food safety standards and drive these.The QA product specialist is part of the Quality Assurance Team, reporting to the Quality Assurance manager. This role is very dynamic, as you are involved in the process from raw materials, recipes and processing in relation to final product compliance. You will be working in a cross functional environment together with Product development, Operations, Material Sourcing and the global Quality & Food Safety team.
In order to be successful in the role of QA Product Specialist, we expect you to have/are:
Completed education in food technology, process engineering or related fields;Knowledge of and experience with protein based liquid products and processes;Proven work experience in Food Quality or R&D;Knowledge of and experience with food safety and quality management systems such as HACCP is preferred;A self-starter with strong analytical skills and good communication skills with diverse stakeholders;Energized by collaborating with the team;Experience in Project management, Product development, or Food microbiology is advantageous;English & Dutch fluent in speaking and writing.Working at Danone is a unique experience.
