The Quality Assurance Professional reports to the Director Quality Assurance - Management Assessments and TPO.
This role will be based in Mississauga, ON.
Your role within the team:
Preparation, maintenance and assistance in implementation of Quality Assurance Manuals, and procedures for QA Programs meeting the requirements of CSA N286, CSA N299, ISO 9001 and ASME code and applicable regulatory requirements.Planning conducting internal audits, self-assessments; and cause investigation, as required.Providing advice and guidance to staff on QA standard requirements and working with staff to address QA related issues.Development of training programs on various QA Program aspects and delivery of that training to staff.Provide guidance and coaching of new employees on the implementation of the QA programs.Why choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer?

University degree with minimum of 5-10 years practical experience in quality assurance.Knowledge of QA standards applicable to nuclear industry, i.e. CSA N286-12 and N285.0, CSA N299, ISO 9001, ASME code.Ability to prepare, and review QA Manuals/Plans, procedures, operating instructions and QA documents and records.Auditing, self-assessment and root cause assessment skills. Knowledge and use of formal quality assurance problem analysis tools (i.e. root cause analysis) would be an asset.Able to develop, implement and maintain various aspects of CSA N286/CSA N285.0, CSA N 299 and ISO 9001 based QA Programs; independently analyze problems and develop and implement action plans for quality improvement projects, be able to organize and facilitate teamwork.Focused on execution of quality improvement projects; be able to deliver QA training to staff.Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate quality and technical matters with staff.Are you up for this challenge?
