As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting finished goods releases, reviewing and providing Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and ensuring product compliance with customer specifications. You will manage deviations and perform extensive trace analyses while maintaining daily communication with customers.
ResponsibilitiesSupport the release of finished goods by reviewing and providing COAs.Ensure product releases meet customer specifications and quality standards.Review and manage deviations to maintain compliance.Conduct trace analyses to ensure product quality and safety.Communicate daily with customers to address inquiries and concerns.Essential SkillsProficiency in quality assurance documentation and procedures.Experience with COA reviews and product releases.Familiarity with customer specifications and deviation management.HACCP certification and PCQI certification.1+ year of experience in QA or documentation control in food or nutraceutical industries.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree or high school diploma.Experience with external audits such as kosher, Halal, and organic.Computer literacy and proficiency in quality assurance systems.Work EnvironmentThis is an office position located above the production floor, requiring GMP attire for office access. The role reports directly to the Quality Manager. The quality unit consists of 51 team members divided into three areas: Laboratories, Quality Production staff, and Quality Systems. Work hours are Monday to Friday with flexible start times between 7:30 am and 8:00 am. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
