Quality Assurance Specialist

SMX is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialists to support J4 requirements for SOCPAC within the USINDOPACOM AOR providing support for quality management execution. The ideal candidate will provide effective reporting to support government quality standard operating procedures and supporting issue resolution advisement as requested.   

This is an expat position in the Philippines.

This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct quality assurance services to support performance enhancement activities Coordinate with designated support services to support government information requirements Complete quality assurance reports in accordance with designated standard operating procedures Facilitate and provide technical expertise as required to support effective resolution of issues and deficiencies Maintain knowledge of all existing requirements and specification standards for Operations Support Services to ensure compliance activities Conduct field quality assurance inspections, within various Philippine locations and future regional locations as required, to identify trends including those within safety or security requirements Develop detailed and accurate reporting of activities against designated checklists and contracted requirements Perform other duties as necessary to include OCONUS travel within USINDOPACOM AOR

Required Skills & Experience

DoD Secret clearance Four (4) years of progressive experience in monitoring, controlling, or maintaining the quality of products or services in quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production, or related areas Knowledge of government performance work statements Knowledge of evaluating and implementing effective quality inspection systems, with appropriate sampling methodologies Knowledge with identifying deficiencies and supporting corrective action activities as it relates to quality assurance Knowledge of reading, interpreting, and utilizing technical data to provide assurance review Knowledge of supply, invoice, safety, and security activities Strong communication skills, verbally and in written format, for supporting report development Must be able to take initiative and work independently Must have the ability to multitask and work effectively, both individually and as a member of a project team, while ensuring timely completion of assignments Ability to interact with internal and external customers Must have a US passport with no less than six months until expiration or obtain a US passport prior to start Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite Programs Comfortable working in a dynamic and high operational tempo environment

The proposed salary for this position is:$102,000—$153,000 USD
