GovCIO is currently hiring for a Quality Specialist. This position will be located in Sumter, SC (Shaw AFB) and will be a fully onsite position.
ResponsibilitiesDevelops and implements program quality plans and procedures. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies and data related to production. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, process optimization and modifications.
Responsible for scheduling, conducting, and tracking corrective action from both internal audits as well as external auditors.Ensures test coverage across a broad range of environments, testing all elements of the release process.Performs as the configuration manager for all organizational process assets which include policies, processes, procedures, and associated tools.May gather metrics data as needed to support the analysis and reporting on operating efficiency and key business metrics.May support the development and maintenance of relevant records for all performance improvement initiatives. QualificationsRequired Skills and Experience
Clearance Required: Secret
Bachelor's with 8+ years (or commensurate experience)
- 8 years’ experience in: developing and implementing quality programs such as verification and validation, configuration management, ISO certification, total quality management, quality assurance (QA), QC, and continuous improvement; AND
- 5 years’ experience in: coordinating with the program and/or project manager to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction; performing analysis of business processes and tracking data to ensure compliance to contractual requirements; developing reports to recommend changes to improve processes and trend analysis of program issues

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
