Serve as the Quality Assurance Evaluator for the Installation Contracting Office’s Quality Surveillance Program on a variety of contracts. Conduct inspections of services provided by contractors and ensures goods and services are in compliance with the terms and conditions of the contracts. Determine special clauses and contractual terms are in compliance with regulatory guidelines. Conduct various quality assurances training to familiarize personnel with quality assurance and surveillance procedures and techniques as applicable to the various types of contracts. Perform solicitation reviews to ensure appropriate quality control requirements are imposed and assist in the preparation of technical specifications for inclusion in procurement solicitation packages. Implement prescribed internal controls to eliminate or minimize the potential for fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement and inefficiency. OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field with a major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position. OR Superior Academic Achievement: Successful completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. In order to be creditable under this provision, Superior Academic Achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled, such as that identified in Education above.
