Summary You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the ESH Oversight, Spill Management, and Business Resource Division and Environment, Safety, & Health Department C/106 of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will maintain the accuracy of the monthly audit and surveillance open/overdue item status report for their specialized area or for any other reports generated that require action(s). You will conduct briefings for Shipyard Department heads or their designated representatives to present the results of audit and surveillance findings *and analysis as well as recommendations to satisfactorily close action items. You will provide on-the-job auditor training and/or guidance to subordinate personnel, and where appropriate, prepare certification criteria for personnel conducting or assisting in quality audits. You will review subordinates work assignments for technical and administrative accuracy and providing guidance to subordinates as to how assignments should be accomplished. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting quality assurance inspections, tests, studies and assessments on management systems.
