Location: Jackson, Mississippi (Field-Based - Greater Jackson Area)
 

Job Description:

To support our growth, we seek a Quality Assurance Specialist to work in our Energy Efficiency division in Jackson, MS. In this role you will serve as liaison between the ICF managed energy efficiency program and program contractors, trade organizations, distributors, and client representatives. You will have office and field responsibilities; some overnight travel will be required. Public speaking, training, and field support will be required.

What you will be doing:

Contractor and vendor quality assurance and control; including those specific to HVAC, Energy Auditing and Direct Install.Providing oversight, technical assistance and guidance on energy efficient technologies and practices to those participating in utility-sponsored programs.Working as part of a team to ensure that the implementation and verification of residential energy efficiency projects are successfully executed in the Mississippi market. Preparing and delivering persuasive presentations and providing program representation with contractors, trade organizations, etc.Field mentoring and QA/QC of residential focused energy efficiency work performedMust have a reliable vehicle for local travel. Requirements are between 50% to 75% of the time in the field. (reimbursement for mileage provided)
 

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications)

Bachelor's Degree in (Business, Communication, Energy, Environmental Studies, or related studies) (Candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education)2+ years of professional work experience; preferably in energy or working with trade alliesMust have valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Background Check and Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
 

What we would like you to have:

Experience in the residential energy efficiency market, HVAC or residential construction market.Knowledge of energy efficient building practices and technologiesStrong working knowledge of basic business principles and successful business practices/strategiesFamiliarity with building principles, energy audits, and energy savings calculationKnowledge of residential energy modeling BPI Building Analyst Certification or RESNET HERS Rater CertificationExperience working on successful energy efficiency programsUtility experience and understanding of Demand Side Management (DSM) program implementationFamiliarity with MS office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$55,124.00 - $93,712.00
