Quality Assurance Supervisor
MAU is hiring a Quality Assurance Supervisor at our client in Blythewood, SC. As a Quality Assurance Supervisor, you will plan, coordinate, and direct a quality assurance program to ensure continuous improvements and production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Benefits Package Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k Paid vacation and holidays Paid time off Annual bonus Shift Information Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university; AND 3 – 5+ years of relevant experience; OR 7 – 10+ years of related experience and/or training; OR Equivalent combination of education and experience Essential Functions Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with the Quality Area Manager to maximize product reliability and minimize costs Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products Plan, promote and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability Investigate customer complaints regarding quality and ensure appropriate action and customer satisfaction Assure completion of appropriate quality planning and implementation of established control plans Direct the implementation and maintenance of the quality policy, procedures, and instructions Coordinate and schedule internal quality audits and assist with the review of results Ensure the members of the management team carry out corrective and preventative actions to eliminate any non-conformance in the system Ensure all tests and inspection procedures are carried out Regularly report to the management team an assessment of the division’s quality performance Conduct supplier appraisals Interface with suppliers using verbal, written, and graphical communication tools to ensure that productions are within proper specifications Develop sampling procedures and inspection methods for incoming material from suppliers Continually increase “quality awareness” in all associates and suppliers Identify and complete training requirements for quality associates Direct and coordinate the day-to-day work activities of Quality Maintenance and Calibration Technicians Represent the manufacturing division at internal and external meetings Perform other tasks as assigned Work Environment or Working Conditions Responsibilities are mostly performed in a normal office setting Occasional exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection Travel 10 – 20% travel required by automobile and plane
