Based in our Sherman, TX, plant, you will work in a dynamic, high-tech production facility. This hands-on leadership role ensures compliance with customer requirements while leading, coaching, and coordinating staff and inspection activities.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Maintain a safe, quality conscious and cost-effective operation. Lead, train, evaluate, and schedule work for up to 25 teammates throughout the department including Receiving Inspection, Stockroom Inspection, Machining Inspection, Final Inspection, First Article Inspection and Material Review Board. Plan and drive the completion of training and development of assigned personnel in support of achieving objectives, including attaining the necessary degree of cross-training. Focus on Quality Improvements Initiatives. Promote and achieve continuous improvement of cost and lead-time reduction. Serve as an interface between employees and staff and hold regular toolbox meetings to discuss performance against targets, problems, and the day's work schedule. Ensure effective team communication to maintain dedication to objectives and hold meetings. Implement lean manufacturing strategies into assigned area(s) through kaizen events, value stream mapping, and 6 S.Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
High school diploma or GED. 3 years of demonstrated quality assurance experience with understanding of quality assurance standards and processes. Understanding of Lean manufacturing. Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, team building, and problem-solving skills. Communicate effectively to provide information to all levels of employees in a global organization. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree in related field. 3+ years of demonstrated supervisory experience in quality or manufacturing. ASQ certification as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). Experience in process improvement and documentation in an ISO9001 environment.
