Job Description Summary:
As the Quality Supervisor you will be responsible to lead the QA Associates to ensure the production of high-quality products at the lowest cost, while meeting the demands of our customers.
Job Related Responsibilities
Select, supervise, and develop Quality Assurance personnel responsible for plantwide operationsEnsure accuracy and efficiency of all quality aspects of production and micro testing in thermal production facilityMonitor and enforce proper sanitation and housekeeping proceduresMonitor all Company, Federal and State communications/audits and implement any necessary changesEstablishes operational procedures in co-operation with Quality Assurance ManagerEnsure safety of all personnel within the departmentMonitor and ensure compliance with all company policies and proceduresEnsure all department equipment is maintained up to company standards.Ensure department is in compliance with all federal and state regulations along with company policy/procedure.Utilize Operational Excellence tools to deliver productivity improvementsConduct scheduled meetings (department, safety) - Develop workforce through supervision, coaching, and training.Ensure all plans and strategies are effectively communicated throughout the department.Review, alter, and approve all departmental scheduling issues.Manage customer service and personnel issuesJob Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Required, Bachelor's Degree in technical or engineering preferred1 year in supervisory roles of people & processes3 years production/manufacturing experience, preferably in the food and/or beverage industry.Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds required.Basic computer and database application skills.Familiarity with manufacturing systems.Working knowledge of food safetyWorking knowledge of Good Manufacturing PracticesWorking knowledge of Good Laboratory PracticesPreferred Requirements
ISO (22000, 9000, 14001, etc.) or other management systemLean Manufacturing, Six SigmaHACCPPCQIBetter Process Control School (BPCS)Skills:
Pay Range:
$100,000 - $124,000Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:
