Apply now. **Essential Functions:** + This position reports to the Operations Manager and has 1-4 direct reports. + Ensure site is in compliance with ISO, NADCAP, and other quality certification(s). + Provide guidance and direction to quality technicians and production supervisors. + Perform data gathering, analysis, and distribution of all quality related data to aid in identifying improvement opportunities. + Make process recommendations, develop action plans, and follow up to ensure that action plans are effectively implemented. + Conduct and facilitate internal and external quality audits of individual departments and other group locations. + Assist leads, supervisors, and managers to evaluate field problem data and develop action plans to prevent causes of problems. + Generate monthly quality reports. + Work with customers to define quality requirements. + Develop policies and procedures for inspection of various manufactured and purchased products. + Analyze/evaluate manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities and review new processes for possible integration into systems. + Facilitate Periodic Testing required activity, documentation and record keeping. **Other Important Details about the Role:** + Oversee vendor’s quality approval qualification. + Review and approve changes, revisions, and modifications to the quality system. + Facilitate the on-going training of personnel on quality requirements + Communicate quality system requirements, expectations, and goals to leads, supervisors and managers. + The pay range for this position is $92,300.00 to $115,400.00 per year. **Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):** + Bachelors with 2+ years relevant experience or Associates Degree with 5+ years relevant experience or 10+ years of relevant experience. + 1 year supervisory or lead capacity experience + Experience managing the Quality processes of an organization. + Knowledge of quality systems, technical writing and training skills. + A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Work, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook. + Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. + Must be a person of passion and integrity who has the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results. **Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:** + Five years of previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. + Five years of previous experience working with the ISO, Nadcap or other relevant quality management systems. + The ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a positive manner + The ability to effectively interpret and present information both one-on-one and in front of an audience. + The ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues. + A proven record of supervisory experience and leadership. **Benefits** Valmont offers employees and their families a comprehensive Total Wellbeing benefit package to ensure their individual and family’s overall wellness needs are met. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone. The incumbent would be available for meetings and in person conversations. The environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time. Travel up to 10% of the time. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms while working in the office with various files and forms and while working on the computer. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office and production floor. Incumbent must utilize proper ergonomic safeguards such as monitor height and positions, keyboard location and height and proper wrist rests. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds in working with large files, binders and computer equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
