The range for this position is $30 / hour.
Qualifications/Requirements

Successful candidate required to have flexibility to work alternate shifts, holidays, and weekends which are required per the production schedule.
Must be able to comprehend and follow documents such as safety policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and general instructions.
Knowledge of GFSI, BRC and FSMA requirements is a plus.
Must be able to work all shifts, primarily 2nd and 3rd.
Responsibilities
Principle accountabilities include the auditing of in-process manufacturing controls ensuring that all products are produced in compliance with Federal, State, Local and JM Smucker requirements.
Inspection, testing and documentation of inbound raw material receipt.
Collaboration with cross functional teams in root cause analysis and problem solving.
Complete preventive controls inspections in accordance with sites Food Safety Plan and fully document root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations.
Support the Company and site safety policies. Acts as a role model for safe working practices. Leads observations to promote safe working conditions.
Execute/lead group trainings as required.
Ensures effective communication with their team during shift, between shifts, and with other department resources.
On the floor support for operators during production and sanitation.
Completing on shift and end of shift reports as needed.
Responsible for “audit ready” program management as assigned.
Working to further develop your own leadership and technical skills.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to ascend and descend stairways
Constant walking (12,000+ steps per shift), bending, twisting, and carrying of product throughout the facility.
Ability to work on elevated surfaces, maneuver and climb ladders and rail cars.
Ability to be trained and qualified to use fall protection equipment while performing rail car sampling.
Education
Associate’s Degree
2 years manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing preferred.
