Quality Assurance Technician
Silgan Dispensing is looking to add an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to our plastic injection molding team. The shift hours are 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., 3 days one week and 4 days the next week, (84 hours in a two-week period, with 4 hours of overtime per pay) in Macedonia, OH. Primary Responsibilities:
Perform inspection activities including:Receiving Inspection1st article inspectionIn-process InspectionsDocument inspection results into ERP systemPerform measurements through use of various measurement devicesPerform internal audits and/or 6S auditsControl & isolate nonconforming productParticipate in Material Review Board (MRB)Create Quality Alerts as neededParticipate in Supplier and Internal Corrective ActionsPerform other duties as assignedRequirements:
Ability to work 3rd shift; and other shifts if neededHigh School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree not required but a plus1 to 3 years of injection molding experienceAbility to evaluate color visually and with measurement devicesAbility to read basic blue printsAbility to use basic measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, etc.Ability to communicate at all levels of the organizationAbility to work safely in a manufacturing environmentCMM/VMM Experience a plus but not requiredERP system experience a plus but not requiredExperience with Lean a plus but not requiredLIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMER
