Quality Assurance TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking a diligent Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for adhering to, implementing, monitoring, verifying, validating, and writing procedures and processes that comply with SQF, HACCP, GMP, Food Safety & Quality standards in all areas of USDA/FDA labeling, manufacturing, and warehousing.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain, organize, and assist with updating all SQF and HACCP documentation to ensure compliance with current regulations.Acquire and apply knowledge of SQF regulations (Safe Quality Food) per industry standards.Administer environmental swab tests per sanitary standard operating procedures.Understand and practice hold and release policies and procedures in cases of ingredient or finished product suitability queries.Help maintain records and tasks to ensure compliance with all governing standards.Ensure completion of daily pre-operational and operational inspections.Utilize various chemical, physical, and visual techniques to evaluate raw materials and finished products.Assist with compliance during quarterly, semi-annual, and annual third-party audits.Recognize and address nuanced deviations.Pay close attention to detail.Perform other duties as assigned.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
