Temp-to-Hire position$23.00 /hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Friday from 01:30pm to 10:30pm)Performs a variety of work to help provide top quality, safe food products that meet customer requirements & specifications.Assist plant operations personnel with quality & processing matters. Test, monitor, & document accurately the quality results & processing data for products produced. Audit, verify, & follow up process controls such as weight checks, batch sheets, Operate, calibrate, & maintain quality equipment such as thermometers, metal detectors, & scales.Quality Assurance Technician Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or equivalent work experience.1-3 yrs. experience in a food manufacturing lab/quality environment.Excellent math, problem solving, & organizational skills.Working knowledge & ability to conduct Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits & post cleaning inspections.Effective written & verbal communications skills.Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.Applicant may be subject to a background check*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
