Job Title: Quality Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will use lab equipment to test finished products and components, ensuring they meet specified parameters. This role involves multiple process checks throughout production, packaging, and warehousing functions.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and calibrate HPLC and GC testing equipment.Receive, document, and report batch testing results for clients into specified systems.Perform physical property testing using instrumentation.Provide independent oversight of lab processes, verifying compliance with company standards and policies.Report quality results to supervisor/manager.Essential SkillsExperience with HPLC and GC testing equipment.Strong knowledge of chemistry, quality assurance, and quality control.Proficient in GMP practices.Skilled in pipetting and performing dilutions.Ability to perform physical property testing.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related life science field is highly preferred.If a degree is not held, 2+ years of experience in a production/quality lab setting is required.A high school diploma is required.Work Environment

The shift for this role is 11 AM - 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some Saturday coverage needed during the busy season. The work environment is a manufacturing/plant setting. The technician will work near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to wet, humid conditions, fumes/toxic chemicals, airborne particles, and outdoor weather while walking between buildings. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, using hands to handle objects/tools, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong visual abilities are required, and individuals with vision problems or color blindness will be disqualified. The dress code includes a provided jumpsuit uniform and closed-toed shoes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.75/hr.
