Level II:

Estimated annual base pay:  $23.27 (minimum) - $29.09 (midpoint) - $34.91 (maximum)

Level III:

Estimated annual base pay:  $26.62 (minimum) - $33.27 (midpoint) - $39.92 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark?  If you are interested in becoming a Quality Assurance Technician at Woodward, we have an exciting opportunity for you! The position directs the activities of, and has responsibility for, subordinates in direct production and indirect support functions in an operations environment.

What you will be doing...

Applies basic knowledge of quality concepts, including normal distributions and creating simple charts to track and help drive quality improvementsAssist in evaluating non-conformances, causes and corrective actionReviews and approves finished product and associated data prior to shipment to the customerThis includes reviewing test data, preparing certificates of conformance and providing any basic documentation required by the customer contractParticipates in audit activities in a supporting roleAudits may include: process audits, system surveys, physical configuration audits, functional configuration audits and product auditsRetrieves traceability and configuration data in support of a product or customer audit/investigationPerforms dimensional inspection using simple inspection and hand toolsCoordinates routine customer source inspectionsTrains other quality inspectors in required in-process and customer inspections, including delegated customer source inspection activitiesMeets with customer representatives to facilitate customer acceptance of deliverable product and prepares associated documentation package for the customerPerforms customer product acceptance tasks as a customer designated quality representative

What we are looking for...

Level II:

High school diploma or equivalent required1-4 years related work experienceAbility to read, interpret and use the information presented in drawings, diagrams and blueprints to determine appropriate activities, tools, and next steps in the production processKnowledge of handling materials and safety equipment/gear in accordance with MSDS requirementsAbility to operate basic inspection equipment (e.g., microscope, functional gauges, plug gage, and micrometer)The ability to use computer and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or output informationThe ability to see details (e.g., letters, numbers, codes, color, symbols, marks, labels, signs) clearly to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner

Level III:

High school diploma or equivalent required5+ years related work experienceAbility to read, interpret and use the information presented in drawings, diagrams and blueprints to determine appropriate activities, tools, and next steps in the production processKnowledge of handling materials and safety equipment/gear in accordance with MSDS requirementsAbility to operate basic inspection equipment (e.g., microscope, functional gauges, plug gage, and micrometer)The ability to use computer and web-based systems to input, access, modify, or output informationThe ability to see details (e.g., letters, numbers, codes, color, symbols, marks, labels, signs) clearly to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner
