Responsibilities Key Accountabilities: Reporting to the site Senior Quality Manager the Quality Management System Specialist will: Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in line with the organization’s objectives and current industry standards Manage the internal program to ensure the QMS complies with all relevant regulations and standards, such as FAA, EASA, ISO 9001 and AS9100/AS9110 Interface with other functions to establish and continually improve practices and requirements Perform analysis of non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive actions Train employees on QMS policies, procedures, and principles to help promote a culture of quality throughout the organization Maintain approved supplier list and conduct audits as needed Coordinate external regulatory and customer audits and ensure timely corrective action responses Develop and Maintain QMS documentation, such as quality manuals, procedures, work instructions forms and rosters Co-chair FOD Committee and Corrective Action Board Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent related experience Minimum of 4 years conducting QMS audits and managing a corrective system Prior experience supporting external audits ISO9001 or AS9100 Lead Auditor Proficient with problem tools and methodologies (8D, DMAIC, 5-Why, Cause-and-Effect Diagram, FMEA) Preferred: FAA 145 Repair Station Experience Experience as site AS9100 OASIS Administrator Experience implementing and maintaining FOD control program Experience in conducting supplier audits Experience training internal audit staff Spirit AeroSystems is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital or civil partnership status, pregnancy, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected factor under federal, state or local law.
