Watch our video (https://youtu.be/kEm9yge1fEE) **to see our team build top-of-the-line excavators and tractors.** **As a Quality Auditor at Caterpillar, you will:** + Perform quality inspection based on the check- list of inspection points/procedures + Complete inspections using a checklist and tooling provided (static tools, dry leak testing, Cab electrical tests, templates, etc.) + Perform overall quality inspection at quality gates or at pre-delivery inspection. + Use lifting devices to move heavy components of weights of more than 35lbs + Inspect products to ensure it meets the specifications + Gather data from various tools and tooling systems and document quality issues into a computer system and flag defects for repair **Basic Qualifications:** + Manufacturing experience **Role requires overtime on a short notice to support business needs. ** **Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):** + Willing and able to stand for prolonged periods + Willing and able to perform repetitive operations + Willing and able to lift up to 25 lbs. **Top candidates will also have:** + Intermediate proficiency (Basic skills/knowledge. No relocation benefits are available. **2nd Shift Schedule (One opening on each schedule):** 2nd Shift MHE Fabrications Line: Monday-Friday, 3 pm – 11:10 pm 2nd Shift STTT Fabrications Line: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 pm - 2 am **Role requires overtime on a short notice to support business needs. ** **Summary Pay Range:** $19.35 - $24.19 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
