This role involves developing comprehensive audit checklists, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with ISO, AS9100, and other quality standards. You"ll play a critical role in driving process improvements and ensuring operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: * Open and complete pre-audit checklists in preparation for manufacturing audits. * Schedule audits, communicate with customers, and ensure team availability. * Conduct audits, assessing manufacturing processes and compliance to quality standards. * Prepare and present audit findings, including corrective action reports and major/minor nonconformance summaries. * Issue and track corrective actions, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve roadblocks. * Monitor corrective action plans, ensuring timely resolution and closure of audits. * Create and deliver presentations to Business Units summarizing findings and actionable outcomes. Required Qualifications: * 5 or more years" experience in quality assurance or a related field. * Proven experience conducting audits in manufacturing environments. * Knowledge of ISO and AS9100 quality auditing requirements. * Skilled in using quality tools and systems, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and practices. * Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting supporting specifications. * Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel. * Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and confidence presenting to groups. * US citizenship is required due to the nature of the work. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor"s degree in engineering or a related discipline. * AS9100 Rev D Lead Auditor Certification is a strong plus. * Experience with advanced quality tools and familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma practices.
